Moravian - Silesian Scientific Library
Object of the new Moravian-Silesian Scientific Library stands as a prominent solitary building in a group of architecturally significant objects, whose importance goes beyond the regional. The building fills up almost all of the space designated for construction with three floors of a block-shaped material. The base of the object is formed by a simple block. A stark spacial form is enlivened through a set of both vertical and horizontal elements of a load-bearing structure, interconnected in the front façade with distinctive sunken panelling.
