Druzba square

The design builds on the architectural vision developed by Kamil Mrva Architects, s.r.o. in 2016. The basic requirement is to raise the quality of public space to a level that corresponds to its symbolic and functional significance, eliminating negative phenomena in the area (functional and spatial barriers, conflicts with inadaptable citizens).

The public space has been diversified into three categories characteristic of the structure of the housing estate of the 4th district:

I. forecourts - entrances to buildings semi-public representative

II. courtyards - semi-public community space

III. public spaces streets, city park, square, promenade - symbolic spaces.

This division reflects the requirements for the individual spaces as we have subsequently approached them.
