The Red Castle complex is a valuable example of the economic background of a manor house. The cooperation of restoration experts and a designer with experience in restoring cultural monuments was necessary for a satisfactory result of the reconstruction. From the point of view of heritage conservation, it was necessary to preserve all the spaces, elements and details that form the heritage essence of the site and illustrate the significant phases of its construction development.

The castle area of Hradec nad Moravicí is situated on the territory of the low mountain range of the Nízký Jeseník, in the area of southern Silesia.
