Koncept.

The stimulus for the design idea is the layers (levels) that are uncovered during archaeological research and subsequently recognized. In the same way that information is gathered from outcrops, the philosophy of the entrance part of the area is similarly intended, which is to lead people through the high levels along an attractive path offering information and a change of environment.

The entrance object is not traversed horizontally, as is the general custom, but vertically. The path to the acropolis leads through the four-story entrance building along a vertical axis, which is formed by an elevator core surrounded by a staircase. This space has the potential to present a natural history exhibition and a historical-archaeological exhibition with a presentation of archaeological finds. Individual spaces with different functions and atmospheres follow this axis. The volumetric layers of the object are played out in a defined space above the grid, which indicates the rhythm and structure of the structure. The individual layers are also supported by various materials on the facade (stone, plaster, wood, glass).
